A report just came out done by Forbes stating that Jay Z is the first billionaire rapper in the industry today. This is not to be confused with Diddy who has made more than a billion dollars also but he is not in the same category because of all the extra production and advertising that Diddy has done.

Throughout his career from selling drugs on the street to making instant classic albums he has continued to change and enhance the music game as we know it. Jay Z is married to Beyonce whos own net worth totals over 355 million dollars so if you combine that with his money then you are going to have a powerful family.

a $70 million stake in Uber

his ownership of the streaming service Tidal

his $70 million art collection

his ownership of the Roc Nation sports management company

$50 million in assorted real estate holdings and his music catalog
