The Little Known Democratic Hopefuls

There are currently 24 Democratic presidential candidates. In other words, a full elementary school sized classroom of people are trying to be America's next Democratic president. For lots of these people, it's kind of a long shot that they'll win, but we all thought that it'd be a long shot that Trump would win. So, here we are.
This blog post is to highlight the little known runners, specifically (and randomly chosen) Michael Bennet, Steve Bullock, and Marianne Williamson.

When I looked up the name Michael Bennet - I saw multiple websites leading to one of the New England Patriot's defensive linemen. It wasn't until scrolling a few times that I found Michael Bennet, the Democratic hopeful's, information page. He is a US Senator for the state of Colorado. What's so cool about him is that he was born in New Delhi, India. But here's my thing, I don't think he has much of a chance to become president, and my grandma (a Colorado resident) says that he's a pretty good senator. So why isn't he running for senate - because he'd be helping the Democratic Party more if he stayed a Democratic senator in a swing state.

Moving on - Steve Bullock. Steve Bullock just announced today! He is the Montana State governor and he is very moderate. I honestly think that he'd be a great president, but I'm not sure that a Montana man will be recognized by East Coasters. Bullock went to Claremont McKenna College, which is a socially conservative school in Southern California, so I'm sure he's had his fair share of bipartisan conversations - just in his education.

Marianne Williamson is an American activist, she went to Pomona College (which is on the same campus as Claremont McKenna, small world.) She is an author and writes a lot of  political commentary books as well as some books that people might call "self-help" books with titles like A Course in Weight Loss and A Return to Love. She has been known to volunteer with people suffering from AIDS, and for that reason we love her. I think she is an awesome women, but I'd be surprised if she became president.
