Fifth Grader killed in school fight.

It's no hidden secret that some high school students have fights sometime or another. But when is it too far? This afternoon, a fifth grader in elementary school has died from the complications of injuries which she had gotten from a school fight. Authorities have not released much information on why the fight started or how, but it makes me wonder ion there is something else we can do about it. I assume that the kid who fought the girl will be punished but I do not think it will stop other kids from round the country from starting fights. Another point is that fifth grade is way to young in my opinion for two little girls to be violently throwing fists at each other. What would make the students stop fighting at least at such a young age in order to prevent another death like this? I am sure that the other girl never meant to kill her classmate, but it has clearly been taken way too far in this case

  1. I heard about this story and it is incredibly sad given the young age of the children involved and I think that majority of the blame is on the teachers for not stepped in. However, I do believe that this was more of a tragic accident than a violent attack because someone could've pushed the girl and if she hit her head, it could've caused the fatal damage. Another aspect of this is also the fact that the person who did it, has to live with someone's death on their consciouses for the rest of their life.

  2. I think this is an incredibly interesting topic. Specifically, the notion of toxic environments at such a young age. However, the majority of these issues stem from children's background.
