Conspiracy Theories about Adolf Hitler's Death

The account on Hitler's cause of death differ slightly, some say that he died by poison and others say he died by a self-inflicted gunshot while biting down on a cyanide capsule. Modern day historians have rejected these accounts as being either Soviet propaganda One eyewitness stated that Hitler's corpse seemed to have been shot through the mouth, but this has been proven unlikely. Dental remains found on Hitler's corpse were matched with his dental records in 1945. In 2009, American researchers performed DNA testing on a skull fragment that Soviet officials had long believed to be Hitler's. The DNA test and examination indicated that it belonged to a woman less than 40 years old.
For political reasons, the Soviet Union presented various versions of Hitler's fate. In the years immediately after the war, the Soviets maintained their stance firmly that Hitler was not dead, but had fled instead. Stalin claimed that Hitler was living comfortably in Spain or Argentina. By 1947 51% of Americans actually believed that Hitler was in fact alive. Overall American historians and the CIA have managed to disprove all conspiracies about his death, but the fact remains we can never be 100% certain...
Like Tupac but on a more serious note people seem to never believe the deaths of these famous people. Infact many still doubt the death of Osama Bin Laden and the entire opperation that the American government set out that killed him. I think it is crazy that the Russians spread such conspiracies and still am slightly confused on why they did considering that they were not allies with the Nazis near the end of the war. It shows how authority can influence the minds of the public as seen with the statistics of Americans believing Stalin and the Russian government. Maybe Hitler didnt commit suicide, that is a possibility, though still unlikely. Hey, maybe the leader of the murderer group is still alive and hiding.
