Aaron Hernandez Case

Aaron Hernandez was an all pro tight end that played for the new England Patriots and the Florida Gators where he racked up hundreds of yards and touchdowns. He was just blowing up on the field when he gets into some wrong business and is arrested and charged with first degree murder. Hernandez did some questionable acts which raised suspicion in the murder of odin lloyd and ended up getting caught for this act. Compared to ray lewis and OJ he did not get off in this trial and was convicted and sentenced to life in prison. This obviously affected his great career and legacy he was just beginning with the patriots as they released him as soon as they heard out and said, " A young man was murdered last week and we extend our sympathies to the family and friends who mourn his loss. Words cannot express the disappointment we feel knowing that one of our players was arrested as a result of this investigation. We realize that law enforcement investigations into this matter are ongoing. We support their efforts and respect the process. At this time, we believe this transaction is simply the right thing to do."

Hernandez had such a complicated legal situation as him being a homosexual or bi did not make any of this better. He later hung himself in his jail cell and wrote a letter showing guilt of the murder and of his sexual orientation so it is safe to say the guy was going through a lot. His death was sad and surprised the league with many other athletes reaching out towards the guy. They also claimed that CTE was a major contributing factor and for the NFL to realize what they are doing to their players mental state.
