Sociopaths

According to the NHS (National Health Service) "Personality disorders are a type of mental health problem where your attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors cause you longstanding problems in your life. The word ‘personality’ refers to the pattern of thoughts, feelings, and behavior that makes each of us the individuals that we are. We don't always think, feel and behave in exactly the same way – it depends on the situation we are in, the people with us and many other things." A preferred medical term for any mental illness that falls in the category with Sociopath and Psychopath is called Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD). 1 in 25 people are sociopaths which are 4% of the population however some can have sociopathic tendencies which people can lye on a sociopathic spectrum where some people can lie higher or lower than others. The symptoms for this mental illness include: “exploit, manipulate or violate the rights of others, lack concern, regret or remorse about other people's distress ,behave irresponsibly and show disregard for normal social behaviour, have difficulty sustaining long-term relationships, be unable to control their anger,  lack guilt, or not learn from their mistakes, blame others for problems in their lives, repeatedly break the law." So to a sociopath people aren't people, they're just tools to be used in their life for their game so to a sociopath the world to them is like a chess game and all the pieces are people and they don't care about them, there's no empathy towards them.

A lot of more people in this world more than you think have at least some sociopathic or psychopathic tendencies. Though they may not be a full sociopath or psychopath they can develop some of these tendencies. Which to me explains why some people react the way they do towards certain things. For Example, this media star named Logan Paul. People are really convinced that he is sociopathic since he shows lack of empathy towards certain things and follows with the symptoms of a sociopath. Many people have been publicly criticizing Logan Paul after he posted a vlog containing footage of the body of someone who had recently taken their life. The YouTuber shot the now deleted video in Japan's Aokigahara (known as "suicide forest" due to the number of people who take their lives there) and posted it on YouTube, with the body included in the thumbnail. The video, which was titled "We found a dead body in the Japanese Suicide Forest…" reportedly gained 6.2 million views and over half a million 'likes' before it was deleted. Logan Paul has since posted his own apology, writing; "I didn’t do it for the views. I get views. I did it because I thought I could make a positive ripple on the internet... I intended to raise awareness for suicide and suicide prevention." Even after his apology people didn't accept it due to that in the video he posted when he was in the suicide forest he was laughing at the dead body and many people found that offensive. He later came out with a video in which he confesses and says he knows he has sociopathic tendencies and in some things he does fit the description of the word sociopath.

  1. One of the biggest sociopaths tendencies is the lack of empathy an individual carries in regards to others, and in this case Logan Paul has showed it all and perhaps even more. He has been caught up in two situations in which he thought the concept of killing was "Funny" as demonstrated in his videos, he was laughing while watching the death of both animals and human beings. This to any normal non sociopath person is never funny, because normal human beings can feel what it would be like to be in another persons shoes, but sociopaths care about nothing but themselves, so unless they were dying is when it would become a point of care.
